The community of the Church is much like a family. A family that cares and looks out for each other is a family that will continue to be healthy and will grow. That is why we realize life brings good times and hard times for everyone. At Red Oak First United Methodist Church, we support and care for one another through the tough times. We know that ministry is not just the work of the pastor, but is part of every member’s commitment to God. We work constantly to help people deal with grief, divorce, marriage, childrearing, addictions, health challenges and all the other challenges we face as human beings. We believe that there is a place for everyone at First United Methodist Church of Red Oak. As it pertains to groups and activities, if you do not find a place that you feel like you can be yourself and fit in; our motto is always that we will make a place for you.
Worship is vital to the life of any congregation. We currently offer a blended Sunday Morning Worship Service at 11:00 am. It is recorded and posted for online worship at 4:00 pm The service includes both traditional and contemporary components. We come together each Sunday to find God, to hear what God has to say to us, and to be challenged to go into the world to be the Body of Christ in action.
We also have Christian Education classes for all ages at 9:45 am
9:45 am - Christian Education
11:00 am - Blended Service
